About The Position

The RN - Medical Oncology position at Edward Main Hospital in Naperville is a full-time role requiring 36 hours per week, with night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, including rotating weekends and holidays. This role involves providing professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The nurse will utilize critical thinking skills to assess patients, recognize changes in condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations. Responsibilities also include delegating patient care tasks and functioning as a team member to achieve unit goals. Requirements

Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within one year of start date into position

Responsibilities
