About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a PRN (as needed) position for night shifts (7pm-7am). In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Innovation Unit is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital and cares for a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions. It serves as an opportunity for new graduate LPNs and RNs to start their careers, supported by seasoned nurses.

Requirements

Current Indiana or compact state RN license
BLS for Healthcare Provider required
Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position

Nice To Haves

Self-Scheduling
Every 3rd weekend rotation for NA’s and every 4th weekend requirement for nurses
Work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday ONLY

Responsibilities
