About The Position

Provides professional nursing care according to the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. This role involves utilizing critical thinking skills to assess patients' conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor patient progress, and record pertinent observations. The RN also delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to achieve unit goals. These are general characteristics, and duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

Requirements

2 years of RN critical care experience
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
BLS
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
