About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking an RN for its busy medical telemetry unit at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, Massachusetts. The unit has an average daily census of 24 patients and offers exposure to a variety of diagnoses. The department emphasizes teamwork and a strong sense of community among staff. The position is scheduled for 36 hours on the day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation and off-shift rotation as needed. Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee, the RN coordinates total nursing care, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership while working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient-care personnel. The RN maintains professional nursing practice standards and provides care appropriate to the ages of patients regularly served. The pay range is $40.35–$71.76 per hour, with the rate determined based on experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for and sign a statement requesting exemption for medical or personal reasons.

- Over three months up to and including one year of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
