About The Position
The Med Surg Float Pool nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows. Nurses are expected to function independently, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience.
- BLS, NIHHS certifications required.
- Strong EPIC proficiency required.
- Compliance with Temple policies and medication safety protocols.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS and TNCC preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care across multiple medical-surgical units.
- Utilize clinical judgment and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
- Float between Med Surg, step down units, and ED for med surg holds.
