About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit will provide care for adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on fostering a therapeutic environment for recovery.
Requirements
- BLS certification required.
- Compliance with the fingernail policy and the facility's dress code of navy blue scrubs.
- A valid driver's license is required, with adherence to a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care according to the charge nurse's direction and patient care standards.
- Participate in the pass/fail exam during orientation and actively use provided resources to achieve the necessary pass mark.
- Adhere to floating requirements, with possible assignments to the ER for 1:1 care.
