About The Position
Jefferson Lansdale Hospital is hiring a full-time Staff Nurse for a night-shift position. The nurse provides professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and completes all required documentation. Staff Nurses perform procedures within the nursing scope of practice, administer medications safely and assess patient responses, and participate in reviewing or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination. Jefferson Health is a regional health system focused on improving lives through clinical care, education, and research. The position is based at Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- State-issued RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
- Administer medications safely and assess patients’ responses to medication.
- Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
- Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period.
- Complete all required documentation.
