About The Position

Plans, organizes, coordinates and provides direct nursing care for an identified group of patients according to specific standards.

Requirements

• At least one year experience in Med/Surg required.
• ACLS required within first year of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• current unrestricted Wisconsin RN license required.
• Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer experience in ER, and/or CCU nursing.
• Would consider new graduates with Paramedic experience only.
• PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Prefer one year experience in Med/Surg, Pediatric and/or OB nursing.
• ER &/or CCU experience preferred.
• Will float between CCU, ER, and PACU.
• Will float between Med/Surg, Surgery Center and Post Partum.
• One year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.
• Prefer at least two years experience in CCU, Cardiac Rehab, ER, or in Surgical Services nursing.
• Prefer two years experience in Med/Surg and/or Ortho nursing.
• Ambulatory Per-Anesthesia nursing certificate and ACLS preferred.
• Prefer two to three years experience in Surgical/Ortho and/or Operating Room nursing.
• Operating Room Nurse certificate preferred.
• Preferred experience in Med/Surg and/or Oncology is preferred.
