About The Position
RN position in a 34-bed adult surgical unit. The role involves standard RPN III duties/skills, with a focus on surgical pre/postoperative care using equipment such as vital signs machines, IV & PCA pumps, WOWS/EMR charting, and Pyxis.
Requirements
- Active State of HI license by start of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in RPN III role
- Strong experience in abdominal surgeries and post-op care
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Standard RPN III duties in surgical care
- Proficient in surgical pre/postoperative nursing
- Floating to other units if necessary
- Maintaining a nurse to patient ratio of 1 RN to 5-6 patients
