About The Position
The Flex RN floats between various medical and surgical units, performing general nursing duties and managing types of procedures required. The position involves 12-hour shifts, scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours is provided.
Requirements
- 2-10 years of nursing experience in relevant settings.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Must possess or apply for an active State of Hawaii RN license.
- Documented proof of immunity required; exemptions not accepted.
Nice To Haves
- PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC preferred.
Responsibilities
- Float between Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and occasionally Cardiovascular Unit.
- Utilize equipment such as Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
