About The Position
The position involves working in a Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6, where you will utilize communication boards to meet patient experience requirements. The role requires adherence to a specified schedule, including weekend and holiday rotations, and may involve floating with the staff.
Requirements
- Current RN license and BLS certification.
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, handling tele, CVC, indwelling catheters, heparin infusions.
- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients with various respiratory and renal diseases, GI conditions, and more.
- Collaborate with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, PCTs, and case management for patient care.
