About The Position

The registered nurse will join the medical-surgical unit, 5 West, providing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The unit has a capacity of 12 beds, and the nurse will work alongside a team including a patient care technician. Nurses are required to work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule and will use the Meditech documentation system.

Requirements

• Team-oriented and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Must wear navy scrubs as part of the dress code.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Med Surg unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate patient care.
• Document patient care and status using Meditech.
• Participate in floating to other Med Surg facilities as needed.
