About The Position

Per diem Registered Nurse position in Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MST) working night shifts. The schedule consists of weekend nights only (Saturday–Sunday), in 12-hour shifts, with six shifts per six-week schedule period based on facility needs. The nurse must be willing to float to all comparable units. Holiday coverage includes one major winter holiday, one major summer holiday, and two hallmark holidays: one fall/winter and one spring. The facility may cancel a shift up to two hours before its scheduled start without penalty.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent telemetry RN experience in a busy Level I Trauma facility.
• Active New Jersey RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Willingness to float to all comparable units.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour night shifts on weekends (Saturday–Sunday), as scheduled.
• Float to all comparable units.
• Work the required holiday shifts: one major winter holiday, one major summer holiday, and two hallmark holidays (one fall/winter and one spring).
