About The Position
This position provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate. The nurse will serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
- One Year of Nursing Experience Required
