About The Position

This role involves coordinating and/or supervising the care provided by other professionals on the team. The position requires performing duties related to assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Additionally, the role includes assessing and planning for the educational needs of patients, clients, and their families. The nurse will start in Med-Surg and then cross-train to Obstetrics (Mom/Baby) and the Emergency Room. There is also an opportunity to train to be a nursing supervisor or charge nurse. Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing or higher
Current Minnesota RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Exception: inability to complete certification process related to health condition: must complete education portion of Basic Life Support
ACLS education completed within 6 months of hire.
NRP education completed within 1 year of hire.
Completes trauma education as set for Level 4 trauma criteria within 1 year of hire.
Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients/families, and community resources.
