About The Position

We are comprised of a 221-bed hospital, 21 physician clinics, home care services, comprehensive cancer care and a vast scope of award-winning services located throughout Marysville and the surrounding areas. The allure of Marysville's community is complimented by its proximity to major metropolitan cities in the Bay Area and Sacramento, as well as just a quick drive to Lake Tahoe. Job Summary: Registered professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift. Prescribes nursing care based on the nursing process that is consistent with the medical plan of care and is based on input from the patient and significant others. Collaborates with the physicians and other members of the health care team and coordinates the delivery of patient care to patients of any age (depending on assigned unit) including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Incorporates teaching and discharge planning needs in the overall plan of care. Delegates certain aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on their current clinical competence and legal scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification at time of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Acute care facility experience
