About The Position

Join Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This is a full-time position on the B2 unit, which is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. The B2 leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The B2N/B3N patient population is diverse, varying in diagnosis and age, and includes patients with liver/kidney disorders, pneumonia, congestive heart failure (CHF), diabetes, and other chronic diseases. Care is also provided for appendicitis, cholecystitis, and wound care. The unit has 30 beds and patient ratios are typically 1:4/5. Requirements

  • Grad of an Accredited Program
  • 1 year of Med Surg RN experience required
  • RN license
  • Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with liver/kidney disorders, pneumonia, congestive heart failure (CHF), diabetes, and other chronic diseases.
  • Provide care for patients with appendicitis, cholecystitis, and wound care.
  • Manage high acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participate in a strong shared governance model featuring unit-based councils.
  • Engage in a spirit of inquiry and innovation that promotes Evidence-based practice, research and innovations in nursing practice.
  • Utilize inter-professional collaboration and professional competencies to meet the needs of patients to provide safe passage and quality outcomes at every encounter.
