We are currently hiring an RN for our Med/Surg Float Pool at St Mary's Medical Center! You will float between Medical/Surgical, Orthopedics, Cardiac, Post-Operative Surgical, Neuro-Trauma, and Oncology units. Nurses in this group often experience less burnout because the work varies from day to day. If you want to see something new every day, expand your skill set, and become a well-rounded RN, this is an excellent fit for you.

Requirements

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire

Responsibilities

• Organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Being a team leader and delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• Contributing to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and in turn serving the community in which you live.
• Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
