A skilled nursing facility in the Miami area is seeking an experienced RN MDS Coordinator to join its clinical leadership team. Requirements
- Active Florida RN license required
- Previous MDS Coordinator experience in a skilled nursing facility required
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and PPS processes
- Experience with care planning and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of PDPM and reimbursement systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Complete and coordinate MDS assessments accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on resident care plans
- Monitor documentation to support reimbursement accuracy
- Assist with audit preparation and regulatory compliance
- Support clinical and operational goals related to case mix and quality measures
