About The Position
Willowdale Village is now hiring an RN MDS Coordinator. This is a Part Time Day Shift position. The MDS Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferably BSN.
- Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term industry.
- Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care or geriatric nursing setting.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities
- Overall coordination and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Leading and motivating others to follow RAI processes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Promoting communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
- Creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
