About The Position

Cobble Hill is seeking a dedicated RN – Maternal Health/Postpartum Nurse to provide high-quality in-home care and support to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the prenatal and postpartum journey. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse passionate about maternal-child health, patient education, and building meaningful relationships with families during one of life's most important transitions.

Requirements

• Active RN license in New York State
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in: Maternal/Child Health, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, Community Health, Postpartum Care
• Current BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills

Nice To Haves

• Lactation Specialist certification preferred
• Homecare experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments of pregnant women, postpartum mothers, newborns, and infants in the home setting
• Monitor maternal vital signs and assess infant growth and developmental milestones
• Educate families on: Breastfeeding and lactation support, Safe sleep practices, Newborn care and parenting skills, Nutrition and postpartum recovery, Family planning and maternal wellness
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Identify changes in patient condition and communicate findings appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
