RN Manager, Inpatient Med/Surg - 5th Floor
About The Position
This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position, typically working 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with hours that may vary based on the operational needs of the department. The role is located at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will join the nursing leadership team and be responsible for directing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs. This includes leading daily clinical operations, coordinating patient care services, directing and evaluating the department's workforce (staff scheduling and performance), and preparing and administering budgets (revenue, operating, volume projections, and FTE oversight).
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN), Required
- Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience. Required
- Demonstrated progressive leadership experience. Required
- RN Licensed in State of Wisconsin. Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Preferred
- Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience within same or relevant practice area. Preferred
- Certification in relevant specialty. Preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care programs.
- Lead the day to day clinical operations and coordination of patient care services.
- Direct and evaluate the departments workforce, in terms of staff scheduling and performance.
- Prepare and administer revenue budget, operating budget, volume projections, and oversight for FTE’s.
