RN/LPN - Miami Correctional Facility
About The Position
Centurion is seeking to hire full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team at Miami Correctional Facility. Both roles are responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. LPNs work under the direction of RNs, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs. RNs work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.
Requirements
- Indiana LPN/RN license or compact license.
- Current CPR.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required (new grads are welcome).
