About The Position
Home Staff is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) for evening shifts in Wonder Lake, IL. We specialize in providing reliable, high-quality healthcare to children and adults in their homes. This role offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and a focus on work-life balance. No prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience is required. Opportunities for full-time, part-time, PRN, and overtime pay are available.
Requirements
- Active IL Nursing License
- Current CPR Certification
- Must be cat friendly
Nice To Haves
- Prior Experience with G-Tube, Trach, and Vent Care preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides 1 on 1 patient care.
- Provides nursing care in accordance with physician's care plan of treatment and individual plan of care, as authorized by client's payer source.
- Takes and records measurements of blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Monitors patient's conditions including fluid intake and output, and composes patient charts.
- Assists ailing patients in daily necessary activities.
- Provides emotional support.
