About The Position

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for compassionate, dependable, and clinically strong RNs and LPNs to join our team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Current Nebraska RN or LPN license required.
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification required or must be obtained within Hillcrest’s established timeframe.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be able to safely assist residents and guests with care needs, transfers, and mobility as needed.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
  • Must be flexible and calm when supporting residents, guests, families, and team members during stressful situations.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Must be able to utilize electronic documentation systems and other healthcare technology.
  • Must follow established nursing, infection-control, medication, documentation, and safety procedures.
  • Must be available to work an every-other-weekend rotation.
  • Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, memory care, assisted living, hospital, or a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality nursing care and support for residents and guests.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and individualized care plans.
  • Monitor resident and guest conditions and communicate changes promptly.
  • Use strong clinical judgment to recognize concerns and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Support residents and guests with dignity, comfort, and respect.
  • Partner with Nurse Techs, Medication Aides, and other team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, guests, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Support admissions, transitions, and changes in care needs.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to urgent or changing clinical situations.
  • Follow established infection-control, medication-management, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Help create a positive, supportive environment for residents, guests, families, and fellow team members.
  • Jump in and help the team wherever needed to keep care running smoothly.
