About The Position

The WOW Program at Mozaic Senior Life offers a unique opportunity for an RN/LPN to work three 8-hour shifts on either Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, resulting in working 6 consecutive weekends. In this role, you will be part of a leadership team within a household model of care, working alongside a Clinical Nurse Leader (RN/LPN), Household Coordinator (non-clinical leader), and Lead Homemaker. The goal is to create a home-like environment and provide residents with the highest quality of life and care. The Clinical Nurse Leader performs nursing duties within the scope of practice defined by the State of Connecticut, ensuring quality of care and quality of life for residents. This role involves supporting the household team and participating in a Neighborhood Council for guiding and supporting all households.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• 1+ years clinical experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• RN/LPN license in the State of Connecticut.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted).
• Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile residents.
• Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Ability to utilize various software packages to carry out position responsibilities.
