RN & LPN Weekends PRN (Rockville)
About The Position
Maryland Treatment Centers Inc. is a growing regional behavioral health provider focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and scholarship. We are a thriving center for treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders. We offer a full continuum of care, including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services. We are seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to join our nursing team at our inpatient co-occurring treatment facility in Rockville, Maryland. This is a part-time position offering stability, professional growth, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Requirements
- Active nursing license through the Maryland Department of Health (LPN or RN)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems is a plus
- A team-oriented mindset and commitment to compassionate care
Nice To Haves
- Interest or experience in mental health and substance use disorder treatment (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient needs accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain clear and timely medical records using EHR/EMR systems
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients
- Respond calmly and appropriately in crisis situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support recovery
