RN / LPN - Weekend Option
About The Position
This is a part-time night shift position for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, specifically for the weekend option. The shift hours are 10 PM - 6 AM every Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the base wage, there is an extra $10/hr bonus. The role involves providing nursing care to patients on the assigned shift, following the Comprehensive Care Plan, assisting the Unit Manager with documentation, and supervising direct resident care personnel. Requirements
- Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
- Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
- Professional manner and appearance.
- Nursing policies and procedures.
- Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices.
- Physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents.
- Organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of unit manager.
- Competent in supervision and leadership.
- Caring attitude.
- Observant.
- Foster and maintain a good working relationship with other staff.
- Good judgement and emotional stability.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the nursing care of the patients on your shift.
- Follow the Comprehensive Care Plan for your patients.
- Assist the Unit Manager with thorough and accurate documentation in the patient record when needed.
