About The Position

Interim HealthCare is looking for an experienced school nurse to join our staffing team. This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule, allowing you to pick shifts based on availability. The role involves providing health services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools, including treating injuries, mild to acute sicknesses, and supporting students with chronic illnesses. You will also be involved in preventive care through education on communicable diseases and proper hygiene. The position requires comfort with feeding tubes, trachs, and medication administration. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents/guardians, and teachers are essential. A genuine interest in improving children's lives is highly valued.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN/LPN license in Missouri
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical facility
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency
• Critical thinking skills
• Good communicator
• Compassionate

Responsibilities

• Provide health services to students when they are at school.
