About The Position

We're hiring a compassionate RN or LPN / LVN to join our new Intensive Outpatient Program (Senior Life Solutions), serving older adults in the Sabetha, KS community. This is the newest program in the state of Kansas set to open October with staff starting in September! This role involves working alongside a collaborative care team providing compassionate mental health support to older adults. Senior Life Solutions, a division of Psychiatric Medical Care, is one of the country's largest Behavioral Health Management companies.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice - required.
Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
Associates of above - required.

Nice To Haves

Psychiatric Nursing experience – preferred.
Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.
Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.
Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.
