Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other nurses, providers, and caring professionals as a team member.
  • Exhibit strong multitasking, decisiveness, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively with other disciplines to meet client needs, monitor charts, and implement action plans.
  • Review and adhere to detox protocols.
  • Assist staff during high-volume shifts by prioritizing tasks and organizing unit scheduling.
  • Provide orientation for new nurses as needed.
  • Maintain medical equipment.
  • Conduct medical lectures for clients as required.
  • Administer medications and complete the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
  • Perform necessary lab tests (HCG, urine, BAC, glucometer).
  • Administer IM and SQ medications, including Narcan as needed.
  • Ensure labs are addressed, reviewed, and that physician orders are obtained and transcribed.
  • Follow proper consent procedures.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement Projects.
  • Address staff development needs and ensure records are current.
  • Complete nursing competency evaluations.
  • Adhere to Evidence-Based Practice guidelines.
  • Engage in continued nursing training and attend monthly meetings for professional development.
  • Conduct nursing assessments, create treatment plans, administer medications, monitor vitals, follow detox protocols, and assist medical providers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
