RN/LPN Private Duty Nursing: Weekend NOC Shift!
About The Position
Journey Nursing Services is expanding and seeking RNs & LPNs for long-term Private Duty Nursing positions. We aim to provide people-centered, holistic care and empower our employees to grow, contributing to closing the nursing gap. We also have openings for a RN Case Manager with vent experience for North Snohomish & South King County, who will manage care and nurse training for PDN nurses and complete RN Delegation visits. New grads are welcome.
Requirements
- Current Washington state RN/LPN license in good standing
- Current BLS
- One (1) year of nursing experience is preferred.
- Will train new grads

- Vent experience (for RN Case Manager role)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 Private Duty Nursing, potentially including Trach/Vent and TPN.
- See patients in a variety of community settings.
- Admit patients and establish care goals.
- Establish and maintain the plan of care and review progress to goals.
- Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Assess, treat, implement, and evaluate patients.
- Administer medications according to provider orders.
- Delegate care to caregivers in community settings.
- Provide education to nurses, caregivers, families, and patients.
- Foster a high-performing culture of excellence that drives employee engagement and provides exceptionally reliable, safe, high-quality patient care.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
