RN/LPN Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Home Heart Florida is seeking a compassionate nurse to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in their home. The company focuses on thoughtfully matching nurses with families based on clinical experience, personality, location, and schedule. This role offers the opportunity to focus on a single patient and build a meaningful relationship with the family, supported by a nurse-led clinical team. The onboarding process is designed to be simple and efficient, and scheduling is consistent, with available shifts depending on the patient's needs, potentially including days, nights, weekends, or overnight care.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license
- BLS certification
- Experience with the clinical skills listed above, when required for the case
- Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently in the home
- Reliable transportation
- 1 year of Pediatric Experience
- 1 year of Home Care Experience
Nice To Haves
- G-Tube clinical skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor and document changes in patient condition
- Provide feeding, respiratory, and other case-specific care as applicable
- Communicate with the family and clinical team
