About The Position
Home Staff is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) for weekend shifts in Lawrenceville, IL. This is a part-time position offering flexible hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 9 pm, with flexibility available. We are committed to providing high-quality home healthcare to children and adults, and we offer a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth. No prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience is required. We offer full-time, part-time, PRN, and overtime pay options.
Requirements
- Active IL Nursing License
- Current CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with G-Tube, Trach, and Vent Care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides 1 on 1 patient care.
- Provides nursing care in accordance with physician's care plan of treatment and individual plan of care, as authorized by client's payer source.
- Takes and records measurements of blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Monitors patient's conditions, including fluid intake and output, and composes patient charts.
- Assists ailing patients in daily necessary activities.
- Provides emotional support to patients.
