About The Position
Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an RN or LPN to provide 1:1 overnight nursing care for a young adult in the comfort of their home in Springfield, IL. This role offers the opportunity to focus on a single patient throughout the shift, providing skilled nursing care, monitoring, and support. The position emphasizes building a meaningful relationship with one patient and their family, offering a different approach to nursing care compared to managing multiple patients.
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN or LPN license
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate and dependable approach to care
- Interest in providing one-on-one private duty nursing care

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care in the home
- Monitor your patient's condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide case-specific skilled nursing care
- Respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Follow the individualized plan of care
- Communicate with the patient, family, and Castor clinical team
- Complete real-time nursing documentation during your shift
