About The Position

Greenwood Village South is hiring on-call/PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing care at its Life Plan Community in Greenwood, Indiana. The community offers independent and assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation services, and long-term care on a 60-acre campus serving more than 750 residents. The position offers starting pay of $34 per hour for RNs and $30 per hour for LPNs, plus experience pay, with shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work. On-call nurses must be available at least one day per month for an eight-hour period. They do not set their own schedule, but may pick up open shifts up to one week in advance or respond to requests to cover openings. They must submit monthly availability to the staffing coordinator by the 15th of the preceding month, respond to staffing calls within 60 minutes, remain within a 30-minute radius of the facility during on-call hours, and keep their phone accessible. Employees who do not pick up shifts within 30 days will be removed from payroll. Requirements

Hold a valid Indiana RN or LPN license.
Have at least 2 years of skilled nursing experience.
Have MatrixCare experience.
Have sufficient experience to limit clinical orientation to 2 shifts.
Be available at least one day per month for an 8-hour period.
Respond to staffing calls within 60 minutes of contact.
Remain within a 30-minute radius of the facility during on-call hours and maintain phone accessibility.
Submit each month’s availability no later than the 15th of the preceding month.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing services, including resident assessments, taking vital signs, and administering medications.
Assist with restorative and rehabilitative care and instruction in daily living.
Conduct regular rounds and communicate observations.
Document and report unusual or abnormal findings, changes to care plans, and follow-up needs.
Supervise nursing personnel and provide job-specific guidance.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Submit monthly availability to the staffing coordinator by the 15th of the preceding month.
Respond to staffing calls within 60 minutes and remain within a 30-minute radius of the facility during on-call hours.
Maintain phone accessibility during on-call shifts.
