About The Position

Safro Staffing is partnering with a behavioral health and addiction treatment organization seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join its growing clinical team. This role is responsible for providing nursing care, medication management, health assessments, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support clients throughout their recovery journey. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are passionate about behavioral health, addiction recovery, and helping individuals achieve long-term wellness in a supportive treatment environment.

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and support to clients receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services.
  • Conduct nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of client health status.
  • Administer medications and monitor medication compliance.
  • Monitor vital signs and assess for withdrawal symptoms and changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, counselors, and clinical staff to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral health emergencies.
  • Educate clients regarding medications, treatment plans, wellness, and recovery.
  • Support infection control, safety, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and interdisciplinary care planning.
