About The Position
Walnut Hills, part of nonprofit Greencroft Communities, is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to join our Assisted Living team. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on nursing care, support and supervise Nursing Assistants, monitor residents’ health, and build meaningful relationships with the people you care for.
Requirements
- Current, active RN or LPN license in Ohio in good standing.
- Strong assessment, observation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and collaborate with Nursing Assistants and other team members.
- Compassionate, professional, and positive approach.
- Genuine desire to build relationships and make a difference in the lives of older adults.
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care or experience working with older adults preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee quality nursing care.
- Supervise and support Nursing Assistants.
- Monitor residents and recognize changes in condition or needs.
- Complete assessments, vital signs, weights, and other routine monitoring.
- Administer medications, treatments, and ordered diagnostic tests.
- Document care and communicate changes with physicians, families, and the care team.
- Process orders, admissions, discharges, and required documentation.
- Help maintain adequate medications and supplies.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents.
