About The Position
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. The RN will manage medically complex patients requiring extended recovery, including those with chronic and critical conditions.
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN License required
- BLS (AHA) Certification required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Complex Medical and Chronic Condition Management
- IV Therapy and Medication Administration
- Wound Care and Specialized Treatments
- Patient Monitoring and Assessment
- Emergency Response and Critical Thinking
- Care Plan Development and Implementation
- Discharge Planning and Patient Education
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration
- Accurate Clinical Documentation
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients with complex medical needs
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes or emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families regarding care and recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care
