Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed in the state, or licensure eligible
- Current BLS
Nice To Haves
- PALS is recommended
- NRP within 12-months of hire
Responsibilities
- Delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of patient care, including critical illness or emergency of episodic nature, using the nursing process
- Completes initial multi-system and psycho-social assessments, expected outcomes, interventions and evaluation of care based upon the developmental status from neonate through adult geriatric.
- Delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of patient care by using the nursing process of assessment, expected outcome identification, intervention, and evaluation of care.
- Demonstrates knowledge and/or proficiency in the management and delivery of patient care in assigned area of clinical practice.
- Participates in patient/family education and discharge planning activities and assures family involvement.
- Integrates culture, beliefs, value systems of individuals.
