About The Position
The RN in the Labor/Delivery unit is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in high-risk deliveries, managing emergency situations, and ensuring adherence to guidelines such as AWOHNN. Candidates should possess strong circulatory skills for C-sections and demonstrate proficiency in interacting with the Cerner charting system.
Requirements
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- 2-3 years of experience in Labor/Delivery nursing.
- Ability to circulate for C-sections.
- COVID vaccine required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior travel contract experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including high-risk deliveries.
- Collaborate with OB techs to assist in deliveries and C-sections.
- Utilize Cerner for patient charting and documentation.
- Float to postpartum or NICU to provide support as needed.
