About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) needed for Labor/Delivery unit. Responsible for providing direct care to pregnant women, newborns, and women undergoing gynecological surgery. Must be capable of triaging, baby catching, and performing transition nursing tasks. Candidates should not expect to circulate C-sections or manage postoperative gynecological patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in L&D and trained in LDRP.
- Certification in ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients and manage labor and delivery processes.
- Function as the transition nurse for newborn care.
- Administer and titrate medications, including Pitocin.
