About The Position
This position is for an RN in Labor and Delivery. The role requires experience with acute care high-risk labor and delivery, antepartum care, and managing various conditions such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiples. The nurse will also be involved in VBAC/TOLAC, active management of laboring patients, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies.
Requirements
- RN license
- Experience in high-risk labor and delivery
- Experience with antepartum care
- Experience with pre-eclampsia management
- Experience with diabetes management in pregnancy
- Experience with multiples pregnancies
- Experience with VBAC/TOLAC
- Experience with active management of labor
- Experience with induction/augmentation
- Experience with maternal emergencies
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care for high-risk labor and delivery patients.
- Manage antepartum patients.
- Care for patients with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiples.
- Assist with VBAC/TOLAC procedures.
- Actively manage laboring patients.
- Perform induction and augmentation of labor.
- Respond to maternal emergencies.
