About The Position

This role Provides nursing care to the patient undergoing Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures. Collaborates with the patient and physician to provide care. The unit offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the best interventional stroke and trauma programs in Western PA. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts a one hundred-million-dollar investment in our four interventional labs, five CTs, four MRIs, fluoroscopy, general x-ray, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. As a Radiology RN, you will provide professional nursing care in a perioperative setting, circulating during invasive procedures and providing moderate sedation. You'll collaborate closely with radiologists and technologists in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, specializing in neurointervention (including embolic stroke, arterial occlusion, tumor treatments, vascular access device insertion, biopsies, arterial and venous embolization/thrombectomy, and TIPS). This role requires meticulous attention to detail and sterile technique, similar to an OR setting. Requirements

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• CPR certification
• 1 year RN experience
• CPR – American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of critical care experience.
