About The Position

Assist patients through the use of x-rays, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and other imaging techniques. Evaluate patients once their procedures are complete and care for them until they are discharged. Help meet patients' needs and manage their pain levels. Our Interventional Radiology leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. Patient Population: Adult - Inpatient and Outpatient. Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1. Department Specifics: Pre, intra and post procedure care for various medical conditions in a minimally invasive setting that uses radiologic imaging. Utilize newest innovations and technology. Great area for nurses looking for a niche specialty.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ER or ICU experience
• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN – Registered Nurse
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 or more years in ICU or ER
• 2+ years IR experience
