About The Position
This client is affiliated with our ShiftWise platform. Upon Offer, your agency will be required to sign the AMN agreement to become a vendor with the program. Additional requirement will include an upload of your insurance to MYCOI and a copy of your agencies Massachusetts States Staffing license. Upon Candidates Presentation. Please provide a copy of your agency’s Massachusetts staffing license. Must be outside of 90 mile radius from facility must submit these documents before offer: Massachusetts Placement Agency License & Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License Daly 6B is a Medical Intermediate Care Unit that is half medical-tele and half medical step-down. Unit Size/Beds: 42 beds – 21 medical & 21 Intermediate care Expected Ratios: Intermediate care – 1:3, Medical - 1:6 Cases seen: PNA, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GIB, Sepsis, PE, UTI, Respiratory failure
Requirements
- Must be outside of 90 mile radius from facility
- Must submit Massachusetts Placement Agency License & Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License before offer
- Experience with trachs
- Experience with vents
- Experience with high-flow NC
- Experience with Cardiac drips
- Experience with BiPaP
- Experience with telemetry
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Floating to other units can happen at times
- RN’s work on both sides of the floor (med-tele & IMC)
