About The Position

This is a benefit-eligible Registered Nurse position working Monday - Friday, 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The role requires a graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing, with a BSN preferred. Candidates must be currently licensed as an RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing and possess a minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, with 1 year in an acute setting preferred. Experience charting in an EMR system, preferably Netsmart, is necessary. The position demands strong clinical expertise in critical thinking, assessment, problem-solving, and technical skills, along with the ability to provide basic and skilled nursing care, set priorities, and assess intervention limits. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. The role also requires the ability to work both independently and within an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. CPR certification according to American Heart Association standards is mandatory. A thorough understanding of the hospice philosophy, principles of death/dying, pain/symptom management, and adult teaching/learning principles is also required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
