As an RN, you'll provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and a smooth recovery process.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RECENT acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).
• Active FL RN license or compact license (must obtain FL RN license within 90 days if holding a compact license).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to post-surgical patients in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly addressing complications or changes in status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
• Document care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and infection control policies while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives.
