RN - Inpatient Nights
About The Position
This role involves providing compassionate bedside care in an inpatient setting, focusing on patient goals and needs. The Registered Nurse will develop and execute plans of care within an interdisciplinary setting, regularly completing assessments for physical and emotional needs. The position requires providing supportive education, coaching, and guidance to family and loved ones regarding the patient's condition and needs. The nurse will utilize a variety of nursing skills to maintain patient care and comfort, treat and educate patients and families about medical conditions, and provide emotional support. Responsibilities include documenting care, operating medical equipment, administering medications, and assisting CNAs and LPNs with their duties, providing nursing guidance when necessary. The ability to work productively with or without supervision and to be accountable for work completion is essential.
Requirements
- Current or pending AR or Compact Registered Nurse license without restrictions.
- Compassionate, sympathetic, responsible, and detail-oriented individuals that are able to cope with human suffering is necessary.
- Strong documentation and communication skills are required.
- Electronic medical records experience and attention to detail with documentation standards.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to manage and assess care plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively and pleasantly with staff, patients, and visitors.
- Able to exercise sound judgment and seek clarification when necessary.
- Reliable and dependable for scheduling and availability.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility; home health, hospice, gerontology, geriatrics, acute or terminal care.
