About The Position
RN specializing in administering medications, blood products, and fluids directly into a patient's vein (IV), often for chronic or complex conditions like cancer and autoimmune diseases. They are experts in vascular access, responsible for inserting IVs, monitoring for side effects, managing, and educating patients. Presbyterian is seeking an Infusion Nurse. Infusion Therapy is a lifeline for many patients managing chronic conditions, and in New Mexico, infusion nurses play a vital role in delivering this care with precision and empathy. Whether you're in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or Las Cruces, infusion nurses are the unsung heroes of outpatient clinics, hospitals, and home health services. Requirements
- ADN/BSN/MSN
- NM State or Multistate License
- BLS Requires at Time of Hire
Responsibilities
- Administer IV therapy for chronic illnesses like rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, and multiple sclerosis.
- Insert IVs, monitor for side effects, manage, and educate patients.
- Administer medications, blood products, and fluids directly into a patient's vein (IV).
